Gayle Olivia Longhurst
Lymphoedema specialist
With over 20 years' experience in beauty therapy, Gayle qualified as a Lymphoedema specialist with the Austrian Vodder School of Manual Lymphatic Drainage Massage in 2002.
Operating from her private practice, which is affiliated with the private BMI Mount Alvernia Hospital in Guildford, Surrey, Gayle receives consultant referrals for patients with primary and secondary Lymphoedema.
Gayle also works on post-operative cosmetic surgery patients to speed up the tissue healing process, helping to reduce bruising and swelling.
A firm believer in the benefits of MLD, Gayle ascribes her own sparkling health during pregnancy and subsequent easy birth to MLD.
Gayle Olivia Longhurst is a member of BLS and MLD UK, the UK's governing body, and is recertified annually with the Vodder School of Manual Lymphatic Drainage Massage. In 2008, Gayle successfully completed her Advanced Lymphoedema training at the Foldi College in Germany.
